These terms govern your use of the Sacred Wings website and any orders or services provided. By accessing the website or placing an order, you confirm that you accept these terms.

Sacred Wings is a studio practice offering handmade burial shrouds, related items, and workshops.

Sacred Wings is operated as an independent creative practice. Invoices and payments are processed through Scribekin LTD, which manages financial administration.

3. My Work and Materials

All shrouds are individually handmade, often using natural, biodegradable, or reclaimed textiles. Due to the nature of these materials and processes, each piece is unique.

Subtle variations in colour, texture, size, and design are to be expected. Where fabrics are supplied by the client, the final result will reflect the qualities and condition of those materials.

4. Ordering and Payment

Placing an Order
Orders are initiated through email or the website contact form. We will discuss your requirements and confirm details before proceeding.

Order Confirmation
Your order is confirmed once details have been agreed and payment has been received. At this stage, the commission is considered accepted.

Payment
Payment is required in full prior to the commencement of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment details will be provided via invoice.

Invoices are issued through Scribekin LTD.

Changes and Cancellations
As each piece is made to order, changes cannot be guaranteed once work has begun. Orders cannot be cancelled after payment has been received, except at our discretion.

If for any reason Sacred Wings is unable to fulfil your order, you will be informed promptly and any payment made will be refunded in full.

 

5. Timescales and Delivery

Completion times vary depending on the nature of the commission, materials, and current workload. Estimated timelines will be discussed and agreed upon when confirming your order.

Delivery
Delivery arrangements will be agreed in advance. Sacred Wings primarily operates within the UK.

If external couriers are required, suitable options will be discussed with you before dispatch.

While every effort is made to meet agreed timelines, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will be kept informed.

6. Returns and Refunds

Due to the bespoke and sensitive nature of these items, returns are only accepted if a product arrives damaged.

Items must not have been used and must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Reporting an Issue
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours and include photographs. We will assess the situation and offer a repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate.

7. Responsibility and Liability

Sacred Wings is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of its products.

Liability is limited to the value of the item purchased.

 

8. Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Sacred Wings cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to fulfil obligations due to events beyond reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural events, transport disruption, illness, or material shortages.

 

9. Privacy

Your privacy is respected and protected. Any personal information shared will only be used for the purpose of fulfilling your order or communication. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and designs, belongs to Sacred Wings unless otherwise stated. It may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.

13. Workshops and Collaboration

Workshops may be delivered by Sacred Wings independently or in collaboration with Luna Arts. Specific terms and conditions will be provided for each individual event.
